Getting Here

Getting to St. Croix is easy and the good news … no passport is required for US citizens visiting the US Virgin Islands and there’s no need for lengthy layovers!

Several major airlines fly directly from the US mainland to the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport, a small international airport on the island of St. Croix. Alternatively, fly into St. Thomas and arrive in style for your St. Croix vacation on a seaplane.

St. Croix Island is only 28 miles long and 7 miles wide and there’s local transport to get you around the island. Once you arrive in St. Croix it’s easy to get around without a car unless you want to head off the beaten path. There are car rental kiosks at the airport, taxis are readily available to arrange ahead, or you can flag down a local taxi van on the street to get you where you’re going. St. Croix has a public bus system with multiple stops to take you around the island or book an island tour on an open-air safari bus for a unique St. Croix experience.

If island hopping the US Virgin Islands is on your itinerary, there are daily flights, seaplanes, and ferries from St. Croix to the other Caribbean Islands.
